Little Rock police make arrest in connection to woman's killing

Little Rock police arrested 40-year-old Wade Williams in connection to the case of Katrina Hampton-Williams' death. She was found dead on Jan. 21. Police had offered up to $10,000 for the arrest and conviction of her killer. It is unclear if the reward has been claimed.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — UPDATE: Little Rock police announced the arrest of Wade Williams, 40, in connection to the death of Katrina Hampton-Williams.

ORIGINAL: Little Rock police are asking for the public's help in finding a murderer. Katrina Hampton-Williams was discovered dead in her residence at 6902 W. 34th St. on Jan. 21. Detectives immediately began investigating the death as a homicide.

Police said there is a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Hampton-Williams' killer.

Police said they believe the assailant knew Hampton-Williams because they had access to her home. The victim is also believed to have been the victim of unreported violent incidents before her death.

The Major Crimes Detective Division have developed a person of interest but said they believe the community has information that can lead to an arrest and prosecution.
