Little Rock police searching for suspect allegedly connected to two shootings in same night

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Little Rock police are investigating two shootings in southwest Little Rock that they believe was acted out by the same suspect.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Little Rock police are investigating two shootings in southwest Little Rock that they believe was acted out by the same suspect.

Around 6:27 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting that occurred near the 5000 block of West 21st Street. Police said one male victim was shot multiple times, but had non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

According to the Little Rock Police Department, the suspect, a black woman, left the scene of the first shooting in a white Hyundai sedan.

The second shooting happened around 7:49 p.m. at Benny Craig Park on Gum Springs Road. Police said that one victim was shot in the head. The victim ran to a nearby house until first responders arrived. His condition is also unknown, but police said he was doing okay.

LRPD said that the female suspect then stole a 1991 blue GMC Sierra from the second victim. Officers on scene said that there may be a potential second suspect with the female suspect, but have yet to confirm that.

The two shootings happened within an hour and a half of each other. LRPD have not yet identified the suspect or released information on either victim.
