She bought the ticket at the 12th Street Market on W. 12th Street in Little Rock and admitted that she bought the ticket on a whim.

After initially scratching the ticket, Robinson passed the ticket over to her son to check. That's when he alerted her that she had just won $500,000.

"We're just always hoping for a blessing," Robinson said.

Robinson claimed the prize from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on Dec. 27.

While she plays the lottery at least twice a week, but said that she doesn't have a favorite game to play. Instead, she admits that she buys lottery tickets based off of color and aesthetic.
