Trash and recycling pick up for Little Rock scheduled to resume on Monday

Due to the continued icy conditions on some streets, the City of Little Rock announced that regular trash and recycling pick-ups are set to resume next week.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The City of Little Rock has announced that out of an abundance of caution, they will be suspending both trash and recycling collection on Friday, January 19.

They state that due to the icy road conditions, some residential streets remain too difficult for the large trucks to drive on.

Normal residential collections should resume on Monday, January 22. Crews will pick up any trash and recycling on their scheduled routes. Residents who may have any additional trash due to their route being missed can place extra trash bags to be collected on their next scheduled pick-up day.

Anyone with additional recycling to be picked up may also place it in a cardboard box next to their carts, for pick up.
