Man wanted in connection to North Little Rock robbery that left one injured

Police are searching for a man wanted for his involvement in an aggravated robbery at a North Little Rock Waffle House that left one person injured.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department has asked for the public's help in locating a man wanted for his involvement in an aggravated robbery at a Waffle House on Camp Robinson Road that left one person injured.

Police say that 24-year-old Devontea Clay is wanted on charges of aggravated robbery and 1st-degree battery.

According to reports, police arrived at the scene around 8:48 p.m. on December 15 after hearing a report that someone had been shot. Soon after arriving, officers said they "located a female victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound."

The victim, who was a Waffle House employee, was transported to an area hospital for "treatment of life-threatening injuries." 

Witnesses at the scene told officials that a man entered the restaurant with a handgun and started demanding money before shooting the victim.

There is no information released on the condition of the victim.
