MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Community support continues to roll into the tornado ravaged cities in central Arkansas. The latest came from Maumelle Saturday as Maumelle High School students stuffed the marching band's truck full of relief supplies and then delivered them to Mayflower.
Two busloads of kids went along to help with clean-up efforts, and five student leaders helped organize the effort.
"We actually just met a family of—it was 5 separate families all here together –they're related. Cousins, brothers, mother, and all of their homes are totally gone, so we just gave them $1,000 to help their family out," said Michele Camp with Maumelle High School.
