The Census Bureau, together with the American Community Survey, has identified every state's most affluent town. In Arkansas, it's Maumelle.
The median household income is $82,000. It fits a pattern of almost every state's richest spot in terms of population and proximity to a big city.
On the other hand, Maumelle is 47th among each state's top cities.
Hidden Hills California and Chevy Chase Maryland top the list.
