MINERAL SPRINGS, Ark. — Arkansas State Police have now located a 30-year-old man that was believed to have been traveling with a missing 16-year-old girl that he met online.
Authorities found and detained 30-year-old Adrian Garces on Tuesday. Later that same day, police completed an independent search and found the teen.
The teen was reported missing on Saturday, July 27 after being last seen with Garces, who was detained in Grand Prairie, Texas days later.
Arkansas State Police initially activated an Amber Alert with the hopes of locating the missing teen.
Police report that she was believed to be with 30-year-old Garces (pictured below) whom she allegedly met online. He is described as being 5'8" in height with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue collared shirt and jeans. He also has a tattoo on his right forearm.
According to the alert, authorities thought the pair might have traveled to Texas in a gray Ford F150 pick-up with Texas license plates reading TTK1766
