Police search for teen who left juvenile treatment center in Lewisville

A search is now underway for a 16-year-old teen who left a juvenile treatment center in Lewisville on Tuesday afternoon.

LEWISVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) announced on Tuesday afternoon that a teen in the custody of the Division of Youth Services (DYS) left a treatment facility in Lewisville without having been authorized to do so.

16-year-old Kamron Dashawn Burke-Holliday is described as being 5'8" in height and weighing about 140 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

He was reported missing from the Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center shortly after 4:30 p.m. on September 24, 2024.

Burke-Holliday had been in the custody of DYS since June on charges of theft of property.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact their local police department.
