JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says the deaths of a husband and his wife at their home near Jacksonville is believed to be a murder and suicide.
The bodies of 31-year-old Kelvin Butler and 28-year-old Erma Butler were found shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday. Sheriff's Capt. Carl Minden says a family member found the bodies and called authorities.
Minden says both suffered gunshot wounds, but did not say which person is suspected of being the shooter and the bodies were sent to the state Crime Laboratory for examination.
Authorities say the couple has five children, but they were not home at the time of the shooting.
