BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — A 40-year-old Nebraska man has been arrested in connection to a car wreck that killed a woman and an 8-year-old in Arkansas last year.
The arrest happened on Nov. 18, 2024 with police taking 40-year-old Robert Sena into custody for his involvement in a deadly wreck that happened in Mississippi County, Arkansas last year.
The crash killed a woman and her 8-year-old passenger on Oct. 27, 2023 around 6:15 a.m.
According to Arkansas State Police (ASP), the incident happened on Highway 18 west of Blytheville. ASP said that Sena was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and that he crossed the center line, causing a head-on collision with the victim 34-year-old Ramira Rogers.
Rogers and an 8-year-old were both killed in the crash, and a second minor was also injured as a result.
ASP collected a blood sample from Sena and results found that he had tested positive for meth at the time of the head-on collision.
Additionally, a witness of the crash reported that Sena was driving aggressively and erratically prior to the accident.
Sena now faces two counts of negligent homicide and a charge for driving left of center. He was booked into the Mississippi County Detention Center.
