NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — This week on Eat It Up, we went to North Little Rock, not far from the historic Argenta District at Cary's Grill & Bar.
This spot is new to the area, opening just two months ago, however, it's already getting a reputation as one of the best lunch spots in Dogtown.
Co-owner Katrina Sanders said that the place is named after her father.
"I always wanted to follow in my dad's footsteps and cook," she described. "I talked to my husband about it, my kids, and my parents. We jumped out on faith and opened it up."
Katrina also said her favorite day to cook is on Sunday.
"We do dressing and so much more. I just love to cook," she added.
Cary's is new, but it has a huge space on Pike Avenue with plenty of room for lunch space, church gatherings, and parties.
Katrina explained that the goal was to "bring something to North Little Rock and this area that people can come to and not have to travel so far."
Once you visit Cary's you'll see just how big the menu actually is— including mac and cheese, yams, fish, chicken, seafood pasta, salmon, chicken strip salad, and so much more!
Cary's is located at 2619 Pike Avenue in North Little Rock.
