NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department was at the scene of a deadly accident involving a bicyclist and a vehicle that happened on Monday night.
According to reports, officers and detectives were called to the scene of the accident in the area of 19th Street and Pike Avenue. Once they arrived they found a deceased adult male in the middle of the road.
Officials learned that the cyclist was traveling eastbound on 19th Street, and the driver of the vehicle was traveling northbound on Pike Avenue when the accident occurred at the intersection of 19th.
The driver remained at the scene and was interviewed by NLRPD Detectives.
Police have not yet identified the victim in the incident, pending notification of next of kin.
