A burglary suspect and a North Little Rock police officer were in the hospital following a shootout Wednesday evening.
The North Little Rock Police Department said they received a call about a burglary in progress in the 1300 block of Silverwood Trail around 6:19 p.m. About seven minutes later they received another call in reference to a "suspicious male" whose description matched the suspect in the burglary on Silverwood Trail.
