Oil spill causes traffic backup along I-30 in Saline County | What we know

Traffic on I-30 in Saline County has been backed up due to an oil spill after a tractor-trailer was involved in a rollover crash on Thursday.

SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — Update: As of 1:11 p.m., all lanes of traffic are back open.

Traffic on I-30 westbound has been blocked after a crash involving a tractor-trailer, which caused the vehicle to roll over. 

According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the crash resulted in an oil spill along I-30 in Saline County, with traffic being backed up between exit 114 and exit 111. 

ARDOT officials are redirecting traffic to exit 106 and ask drivers to avoid the area while the incident is being handled. 

Alongside the oil spill, traffic is also being backed up by a stalled vehicle near exit 106, which is impacting drivers traveling eastbound trying to take the off-ramp.
