NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — One person is dead and a second person is injured after a shooting took place overnight on Riverfront Park Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from at least one gunshot wound. One victim, an adult male, later identified as 31-year-old Jordan Brown of Jacksonville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, an adult female, was transported to a hospital for treatment.
She is currently in critical but stable condition. The name of the deceased victim is not being released, pending the notification of the next of kin.
Officials launched a homicide investigation and detectives are currently working to canvass the scene and conduct interviews.
