NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — One person is dead and a second person is injured after a shooting took place overnight on Riverfront Park Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from at least one gunshot wound. One victim, an adult male, later identified as 31-year-old Jordan Brown of Jacksonville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, an adult female, was transported to a hospital for treatment.
She is currently in critical but stable condition.
Officials launched a homicide investigation and detectives are working to canvass the scene and conduct interviews.
Police have arrested 20-year-old James Green of Jacksonville on a capital murder charge for his involvement in this incident. He is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center.
Authorities are also still looking for an additional suspect in this deadly shooting. 22-year-old Akashdeep Singh is wanted for capital murder and criminal attempt to commit murder.
