Craig O'Neill reads to Baker Elementary, the school full of future CEO's

Thanks to Mangan Dental Group and First Security Banks, every child in first through fifth grade, received a copy of "Cleo Edison Oliver: Playground Millionaire."

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Baker Elementary used to be out in the “boonies” 20 years ago. But, Arkansas has grown so quickly, the school is almost in the middle of the city now. Baker, therefore, became the perfect school for an event they staged today: “One Book One School,” devoted to business.

Thanks to Mangan Dental Group and First Security Banks, every child in first through fifth grade, received a copy of “Cleo Edison Oliver: Playground Millionaire.”

It’s the story of a young girl who is looking to start her own business. She ends up with a tooth-pulling enterprise (which explains why Mangan Dental was there) and the story illustrates the process in a fun and endearing way.

Craig O’Neill read the first chapter of the book to a full assembly of Baker kids. All indications are that it scored and kids are committed to reading it. Who knows how many CEO’s will come out of today’s big event. One thing is certain: Baker kids won’t have to go far to find the next big development. It’s happening all around them.
