SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — The Highway 70 ramp to Interstate 30 east will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. on Feb. 21 through 5 a.m. on Feb. 22 to install overhead signage for the interstate widening project in Saline County.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) said traffic will not be able to use the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 eastbound during the closure, and travelers must follow the signed detours.
The detour is as follows:
- Take the ramp to I-30 west
- West on I-30 to Exit 106 (Old Military Road)
- Take the overpass toward Highway 67
- East on Highway 67 to return to I-30 east
According to ARDOT, traffic will be controlled with construction barrels, barricades and signage, as travelers are advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
