PARIS, Arkansas — A Paris woman is walking home with $75,000 after a quick trip to a convenience store in her hometown, according to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL).
ASL tells 5NEWS that Sasha Mitchell first bought the ticket at the Tobacco Town in Paris on East Walnut just before Halloween, and didn't even check the winning ticket until the next week.
While sitting in her driveway, Mitchell "just about fell out" of the car when she realized she had won the top prize of $75,000 for the crossword game, according to ASL.
Mitchell plans to pay off some debt with the winnings. "I think it’s a dream ... I’ve cried so many times today."
