PINE BLUFF, Ark. — One person died Saturday morning after being hit by a pickup truck in the 4600 block of Dollarway Road.
The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating the fatal traffic collision and said the driver of the pickup truck "remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities."
According to Pine Bluff police, officers responded to the accident around 5:14 a.m. and found the pedestrian lying unresponsive on the ground.
Authorities have not revealed the victim's identity as they work to notify the next of kin.
Additionally, Pine Bluff police are still investigating the cause of the collision and working to determine any contributing factors.
