PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that injured a couple and an 11-year-old child just after midnight on Tuesday.
According to a police report, officers were responding to a vehicle fire when they heard gunshots in the 2000 block of South Linden Street.
Authorities said they found firefighters tending to a woman and child with gunshot wounds when they arrived on the scene and later found a third victim in a nearby apartment.
All three gunshot victims were taken to the Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
During the initial investigation, witnesses revealed they saw three people inside a silver/gray Hyundai Sonata shoot at the individuals.
