PINE BLUFF, Ark. — A police officer with the Pine Bluff Police Department is in the hospital after she was involved in an accident while on duty.
According to reports, Officer Tiffany Wood was responding to a call on University at around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday morning when her patrol car was hit head-on by a drunk driver.
She was quickly taken to UAMS where she remains in critical but stable condition.
Police have not released any information regarding possible charges, or the identity of the alleged intoxicated driver.
