PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Update: Donovan Cuthbertson has been taken into custody after being found in the Dollarway area of Pine Bluff.
The Pine Bluff Police Department is looking for 24-year-old Donovan Cuthbertson of Gould, who authorities said is out on bond but failed to appear for court dates connected to a September 2023 murder and shooting.
Police said Cuthbertson has an active warrant for failing to appear for trial. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 160 pounds.
Additionally, Pine Bluff police said Cuthbertson is usually around the Dollarway area and the town of Gould.
Cuthbertson was arrested in September 2023 after allegedly killing 33-year-old Racheal Crouch and shooting a 30-year-old man in the 1800 block of Belmoor Drive.
Prosecutors didn't formally file charges until November 28, 2023, more than 60 days after the arrest. The delay violated a criminal procedure rule, and in January, a judge granted Cuthbertson his release on recognizance.
A release on recognizance allows a defendant to be released from custody without having to post bail or bond, but rather by signing an agreement promising to return to court for all scheduled appearances.
Since then, Cuthbertson missed a court hearing in April and hasn't been seen since.
Anyone with information regarding Cuthbertson's location is asked to call the Pine Bluff tip line at (870) 730-2106, the detective office at (870) 730-2090, or the dispatch center at (870) 541-5300.
