Police arrest 22-year-old for fatal shooting of Pulaski County man

Police have now arrested a 22-year-old for the fatal shooting of a Pulaski County man that happened in July.

ENGLAND, Ark. — Police have now made an arrest in the murder of a Pulaski County man that happened in July.

According to reports, 22-year-old Tamarous Dodson of England, Arkansas was charged for his involvement in the shooting death of 34-year-old Justin Williams, and for the shooting of two others at the corner of South Main and Nichols streets that happened on July 1, 2023.

On December 9, 2023, the criminal investigation division of Arkansas State Police, along with the England Police Department and Lonoke County Sheriff's Office were able to arrest him at a home in England.

Dodson has been charged with first-degree murder for the death of Williams, as well as first-degree battery for the shooting of one of the others. 

He has since been taken to the Lonoke County Detention Center.
