LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Oct. 27, Southwest Patrol Officers responded to a shooting call in the 7000 block of Baseline Road. Upon arrival, officials discovered three vehicles wrecked at the intersection of Baseline and Chicot Road.
Inside one of the vehicles, officers discovered a juvenile victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment.
Two more shooting victims arrived at a local hospital shortly later via personal vehicles and were released from the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Nov. 1, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. His body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
This incident is now being investigated as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing and we will provide updates as they become available.
