LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred at a Kroger.
According to police, the incident happened at a Kroger on E. Roosevelt Road after witnesses said a man allegedly began "harassing" a woman while both were in the checkout line.
Reports said that the man began being aggressive towards the woman, despite her telling him to stop -- the man later allegedly assaulted the woman and caused an abrasion as a result.
From there, the woman pulled out a revolver and shot at the man multiple times.
According to reports, the man initially walked out of the Kroger after the incident but later returned. From there, the woman fired more shots at the man after he returned inside.
The woman was taken into custody without incident and is being charged with first degree battery.
The man was taken to the hospital but is facing charges for third degree battery.
