Pine Bluff police search for second suspect in fatal shooting

The Pine Bluff Police Department has asked for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The Pine Bluff Police Department has asked for the public's help in locating a wanted man.

According to reports, 20-year-old Darryell Semaj Lerone Bell, who also goes by "DP," is wanted in connection to the death of Cedric Hawkins. 

Police state that the incident happened around 1:00 a.m. on Nov. 1. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 21-year-old Hawkins, who had been shot, lying in the parking lot of the Saint John's Apartments.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Just days ago, 24-year-old Raheem Morehead was arrested in connection with the murder of Hawkins after turning himself in. He has now been booked into the W.C. Dub Brassell Detention Center for capital murder.

Bell is described as being 5’8” in height and weighing about 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be at the 1400 block of Boston Drive in Pine Bluff. 

He is wanted on charges of first-degree murder.
