LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — There are over 1,000 customers in downtown Little Rock with no power Thursday after Entergy said their equipment malfunctioned.
"An equipment malfunction in a substation this afternoon has resulted in an outage for much of downtown Little Rock. Technicians are on the scene and expect to have a solution in place by 5 p.m.," Entergy Arkansas posted on their Facebook page just before 4 p.m. Thursday.
On the Entergy website, the outage map explains that "A serviceman is working to determine the cause of your outage. Power will be restored as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience."
