Delicious, fresh food served down the lanes of Professor Bowl

Professor Bowl in Little Rock is best known for bowling lanes, a huge arcade, & family atmosphere— but the delicious comfort food menu is pretty incredi-'bowl' too!

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Understandably, a bowling alley may not immediately come to mind when you think of really good food, but that’s exactly where we’re eating it up this week!

Many Eat It Up fans began sharing the secret that is Professor Bowl’s delicious comfort food menu. The food is so delicious that it’s very common for people to come for lunch or dinner and not even bowl!

“The days of just frozen burgers and wings are over,” explained Dave Gibson, owner of Professor Bowl. “We’re serving fresh food, hand-pattied burgers, and the customers have really responded to that.”

Gibson acknowledged that there was a time when bowling alley food may not have been desirable, but those days are long gone— and based on the number of recommendations we’ve received, he’s right!

“The community of Little Rock has been great to us. We’re still here because of Little Rock,” said Gibson, who has been at Professor Bowl since 1990!

So what kind of food can you expect at Professor Bowl? One of the top sellers is actually fried catfish. It's well-seasoned, flakey, southern-fried catfish served with hushpuppies, fries, and tartar sauce of course.

The burger isn’t far behind. Made with fresh, never-frozen, ground beef and your choice of toppings, you’re sure to be pleasantly surprised.

Gibson recommended saving room for dessert as well. Professor Bowl has an entire ice cream room that offers 24 different flavors of Blue Bell ice cream! Root beer floats and yummy milkshakes are also fan favorites.

Whether you’re looking for a hearty lunch or a one-stop-shop date night, look no further than Professor Bowl. The sport of bowling, plus a HUGE arcade paired with a solid food menu makes this Little Rock mainstay a top destination for everyone.

Professor Bowl is located at 901 Towne Oaks Drive in Little Rock. They are open seven days a week.
