SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — Due to the ongoing construction to widen Interstate 30 in Saline County, the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 east will be closed overnight so that construction crews can work on pavement repairs.
The closer will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, and go through 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30.
Drivers will be unable to use the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 east and will need to follow the detours below:
- Take the ramp to I-30 west
- Head west on I-30 to Exit 106 (Old Military Road)
- Take the overpass toward Highway 67
- Go east on Highway 67 to return to I-30 east
Traffic will be controlled by signage, barrels, and barricades. Drivers are encouraged to drive safely and follow posted speed limits while in construction zones.
