FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas will enter the 2024 baseball season ranked No. 3 as the Hogs were among eight SEC teams selected in the top 25 of the D1Baseball preseason poll.
The SEC is the most represented conference, with Florida (2), LSU (3), Vanderbilt (6), Texas A&M (8), Tennessee (9), Alabama (19) and South Carolina (25) all making an appearance in the rankings.

The Razorbacks, who finished with a 43-18 overall record last season, claimed the SEC West title and earned the No. 3 national seed in the NCAA Tournament, their highest since earning the top seed in 2021.
Additionally, the program is looking to build off a year in which they hosted a regional for the 10th time in program history.
Arkansas's quest for its first national title begins on Feb. 16 with a four-game home series against James Madison. First pitch from Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville begins at 3:00 p.m. Central.
