CONWAY, Ark. — Update: As of 10:48 p.m., officials say the gas was shut off and the barricades will be removed soon.
The Conway Police Department announced on Monday afternoon that there is a gas leak in the city.
According to reports, East German Lane is closed for the time being due to a gas leak in the area. The area of East German Lane is closed from East Oak Street down to Mockingbird Lane.
Summit Utilities explained that they had a piece of equipment break and the road will be closed until possibly midnight.
