LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Attention Little Rock! The Downtown Little Rock Partnership (DLRP) announced Thursday that the city's Rooftop Cinema @ 6th & Scott outdoor film series will return this summer.
DLRP said that the series is open to everyone in the Little Rock community. Visitors can watch one of their favorite movies as the sun sets and the stars begin to glimmer.
Here's a look at the films slated for this summer:
- May 23 – Black Panther (PG-13 2018)
- June 27 - Arthur the King (PG-13 2024)
- July 25 – Creed III (PG-13 2023)
- Aug 22 – Mad Max: Fury Road (R 2015)
- Sep 26 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (PG 2023)
- Oct 24 – Ghostbusters (community choice)
The film series will take place on the parking deck rooftop at 6th Street and Scott Street. Admission is free, and screenings begin at dusk.
"The series, set against a view of Little Rock’s skyline from the rooftop at the parking deck at 6th and Scott Streets (139 E 6th St), offers a unique cinematic experience surrounded by the vibrant energy of downtown Little Rock from May to October," DLRP said in their press release.
DLRP said that attendees can bring chairs or blankets to remain comfortable. Popcorn and Stone's Throw beer will also be available for purchase during each screening.
