SEARCY, Ark — According to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the city of Searcy has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing cities in Arkansas.
"We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the US Census Bureau. Searcy's rapid growth is a testament to our vibrant community, strong economy, and exceptional quality of life. We are proud to see our city flourishing and look forward to continuing to serve our residents and businesses," stated Mayor Mat Faulkner.
Searcy ranked as the 95th fastest-growing U.S. city, with a 3.9% growth rate among cities with at least 20,000 residents. In 2022, Searcy’s population increased from 22,918 to 23,813 in 2023.
From 2020 to 2023, the city had a growth rate of 3.8%, making it the ninth-fastest-growing city in the state.
