A second inmate was found dead this week at the East Arkansas Regional Unit in Brickeys.
According to a press release, staff at the prison allegedly found 38-year-old Gavin Loverin hanging in his single-man cell around 12:28 a.m.
He was pronounced dead 12 minutes later at the infirmary.
His death comes two days after authorities found Robert Ivy hanging in his single-man cell.
The Arkansas State Police is conducting an investigation into both Loverin and Ivy's death.
