SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane native Taylor Swanson won her second Paralympic medal on Friday in the 4x100m universal relay.

Swanson and her Team USA teammates won bronze in the relay race.

Swanson also won a silver medal on Thursday in the women's 100m final in the T37 class.

Swanson was born in South Korea where she was adopted at six-months-old and raised in the United States. She wasn't diagnosed with cerebral palsy until early 2023 when doctors discovered she had hemiplegia, a type of unilateral cerebral palsy.

She only began training as a sprinter in 2022 after tearing her meniscus.

This is Swanson's second medal and her first Paralympics.
