Swim beach at Beaverfork Lake Park closed due to high E. coli levels

The City of Conway announced that the public swim beach at Beaverfork Lake Park is now temporarily closed.

CONWAY, Ark. — On Tuesday, the City of Conway announced that the public swim beach at Beaverfork Lake Park has been closed due to high levels of E.Coli in the area.

Though the swim beach is closed, they did say that the Horseshoe Bend Day Use area, including the swim beach and boat launch ramp, will remain open.

The swim beach and campground remain closed, though there is currently no estimate on when they will reopen.

Freedom Fest Conway is set to take place on July 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Beaverfork Lake Park and so far no information has been released stating that the location of the event would be changing due to this closure.
