SHERWOOD, Ark. — According to the PCSSD Spokesperson Jessica Duff, Sylvan Hill High North and Main campuses are to reopen on Friday, Feb. 14 after cooperation from state police and the FBI into a threat.
Officials say Thursday's closure came after a post found on Instagram Wednesday night, Feb. 12. regarding a threat against the north campus.
This announcement comes after a specific and 'viable' threat was made against students and staff at Sylvan Hills High School's main campus.
The threat forced the Pulaski County Special School District to cancel classes for the main campus on Wednesday and Thursday as they continue to investigate.
Officials say this will be an AMI day for Sylvan Hills North.
Sylvain Hills Elementary will have extra security at the school today. No threat has been made towards this school, this is just a precaution.
