LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: This incident has been cleared.
Three crashes on I-40 eastbound have caused traffic to back up in Prairie County near Hazen.
Arkansas State Police are on the scene working to clear the crashes between the 196-198-mile markers.
According to officials, the interstate from Hazen-Biscoe over the White River Bridge will be shut down for a while, however, extended closures aren’t expected.
