LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Arkansas native and THV11 anchor, Alyse Eady, has accepted a position as anchor at an Atlanta station. Her last day with THV11 will be July 29th.
“We wish Alyse great success as she moves forward in her life and career,” says THV11 News Director Dave Parker. “She stands out for her poise and professionalism, contributing as a solid, hard-working member on THV11 This Morning.”
Prior to joining THV11 in 2011 as THV11 This Morning co-anchor, Alyse served as Miss Arkansas and was 1st runner-up in the 2011 Miss America pageant, most notably known as a ventriloquist appearing on several national TV venues.
Eady, a Fort Smith native, has been active in the community helping many local organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas.
“I’ve had the privilege of sharing the news with you on THV11,” Eady states in a Facebook post. “Thank you for inviting me into your homes each day, and for trusting me to do the job I’ve loved so much.”
THV11 President and General Manager Michael Caplan adds, “We certainly wish Alyse the very best with her new opportunity and thank her for all she has given to Arkansas and THV11.”
