LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Friday, March 8, Arkansas State Police (ASP) arrested a Benton man on 250 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
According to reports, ASP’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force opened an investigation into 27-year-old Gregory Lynn Westbrook on February 29 after receiving a cyber tip related to the distribution of child sexual abuse materials.
Westbrook was taken into custody with assistance from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Saline County Detention Center.
On Thursday, March 14, the ICAC Task Force arrested 38-year-old Jonathan McLean in connection to a different case.
With the help of the Texarkana Police Department, officials carried out a search warrant at McLean's home in the 1400 block of Orleans Street in Texarkana, seizing electronic devices and other evidence.
He was taken into custody at his place of employment and later transported to the Miller County Detention Center and charged with 100 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
