LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The United States Bicycle Route System (USBRS) announced that three new routes have been added to its network, including one in Arkansas.

The three new routes are USBR 51 in Arkansas, USBR 76 in Wyoming, and USBR 85 in California. Arkansas's USBR 51 goes 88 miles from the Missouri state line to Alma, with eventual plans to connect it to the Louisiana border.

Approximately 35 miles of the route follow a separate trail system called the Razorback Greenway, which helps touring cyclists easily find restaurants, hotels, entertainment, and more.

The USBRS is a developing national network of bicycle routes that aims to connect urban and rural communities via signed roads and trails.

These routes, created with public input, help direct cyclists to a preferred route through a city, county, or state.
