Is "Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience" coming to Little Rock?

Excitement is growing for art lovers in central Arkansas after promoters officially confirmed "Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience" is coming to Little Rock.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Art lovers in central Arkansas are getting excited about the arrival of a new touring exhibit called "Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience".

The initial announcement of the Van Gogh exhibit online had many Arkansans looking forward to getting tickets. However, some people reported having trouble finding a link for tickets to the Little Rock event.

One THV11 viewer said she noticed some inconsistencies in online ads for the event and the official site’s calendar, plus the location she found didn’t match anywhere she knew of in Little Rock.

It made her wonder whether the exhibit really was coming to the capital city. After making some calls she discovered that many local arts contacts hadn't heard of the event, she worried it could be a scam.

Verify reached out to Santi Santamaria, the Global Director of Communications at Fever to clear up the confusion and received a quick reply.

In a statement, Fever explained:

"There seems to have been a misunderstanding due to a couple of factors: a building number similar to that of a neighboring store, and a temporary delay in updating our page of U.S. Cities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We're happy to clarify any doubts and ensure everyone can enjoy the Van Gogh Immersive Experience."

Fever and its partner, Exhibition Hub, allowed us to show viewers a glimpse of the event. Promoters confirmed that the popular exhibit will be in Little Rock from August 1 through October 31 at 2618 S Shackleford Road.

The groups claim more than 6,000,000 visitors have enjoyed the large-scale, digital art show that’s been wowing audiences of all ages since 2017.

The Little Rock Convention and Visitor's Bureau website now shows the event too.

So we can verify that "Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience" will be making a stop in Little Rock, despite some confusion early on. You can get tickets, and find dates and prices online here
