Medical marijuana is now on sale in Arkansas, but there are still a number of questions about how this will all work here in the state.

If a person is pulled over for a traffic violation, speeding, etc. and they have marijuana in the car with a medical licenses, what will be the consequences?
DFA Spokesperson Scott Hardin said as long as you have your patient card, you can legally carry up to 2 and a half ounces of medical marijuana at any given time. The possession of medical marijuana is justified with the patient card.
Employees that require a drug test regardless to the position, will applicants automatically be disqualified because they have a medical card?
Hardin said while the medical marijuana commission does not have oversight into employment issues related to medical marijuana, Amendment 98 does provide protection for Arkansans with patient cards.
It states:
"An employer shall not discriminate against an applicant or employee in hiring, termination, or any term or condition of employment, or otherwise penalize an applicant or employee, based upon the applicant's or employee's past or present status as a qualifying patient or designated caregiver."
