War Memorial Stadium hosting 'North Pole Nights' holiday movie event

War Memorial Stadium staff is focused on fixing last year’s water, concessions and ticket issues before Arkansas’s 2024 season opener against UAPB on Aug. 29.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — War Memorial Stadium is hosting a two-night 'North Pole Nights' movie event to celebrate the holiday season.

Guests are invited to come and watch Elf on Friday, December 20, and The Polar Express on Saturday, December 21 at 7 p.m.

Both nights will also include a special meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and concessions, adult beverages, and hot cocoa will be available for purchase.

Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets or chairs to watch the movies on the field. Tickets are free for those aged 12 and under, and $7 for 13 and up.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. each night, with movies starting at 7 p.m.

The stadium is also partnering with the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance for the Stuff the Bus food drive. A bus will be present on both nights of the event for moviegoers to bring nonperishables and fill the bus
