Wreaths Across America at Little Rock National Cemetery | What to know

The annual Wreaths Across America wreath-laying ceremony will honor and remember fallen veterans at the Little Rock National Cemetery on Dec. 16.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The National Wreaths Across America Day, a wreath-laying ceremony to remember and honor fallen soldiers, will be held on Dec. 16 at the Little Rock National Cemetery.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization that coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies every December at more than 3,700 veterans' cemeteries and other locations nationwide.

According to the organization, "sponsorship groups have raised funds throughout the year to sponsor the placement of 8,000+ veterans' wreaths on headstones of our fallen service members laid to rest there."

The annual event aims to further Wreaths Across America's yearlong mission to "remember, honor, teach, ensuring that the memory of those who served our country endures."

Little Rock's wreath-laying ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. Central on the south side of the cemetery on East 26th Street.
