Marlisa Goldsmith, reporter and Saturday morning anchor, joined the THV11 team in April 2013. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, she graduated from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.
While attending St. Edward's, Marlisa had the opportunity to work for Universite Catholique de l'Ouest in France, where she produced and co-anchored her own news program for English-speaking students. This is when she realized news reporting is what she was born to do.
Marlisa previously worked as a reporter at KRBC in Abilene, Texas. In 2013, she was one of two journalists awarded with a School Bell Award for 'Best Continuing Education Coverage' in the state of Texas.

In her spare time she enjoys attending church, running, and traveling. She is excited to call Little Rock her new home and looks forward to meeting THV11's viewers. If you happen to see her out reporting, feel free to stop her and say hello.
