Arkansas's 2024 primary | What time do the polls close?

As you head to the polls on Super Tuesday, here's what you need to know about polling locations and when they close.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Voters in Arkansas who haven't voted yet will head to the polls on Tuesday, March 5 to cast their ballots for the 2024 primary elections.

While people have the option vote in either a Republican or Democratic primary, all voters will see judicial races and other local items on their ballot.

How to vote

On March 5, polls across Arkansas will open at 7:30 a.m. and stay open until 7:30 p.m. 

It is important to note that if you are still in line at 7:30 p.m., you can remain in line to cast your ballot. You can view a sample ballot of what you are eligible to vote on by clicking here.

When you arrive at your voting location, an official will ask for your name, address, and date of birth. Officials will also ask you to provide a form of identification.

If you can't provide an approved form of ID, you will have to cast a provisional ballot.

After signing the precinct voter registration list, you will be handed a ballot and head to an open voting machine or box. You are allowed five minutes to vote.

How to file a complaint

If you notice any issues regarding a violation of election laws or any attempts at voter intimidation, you can file an official complaint form with the Arkansas State Board of Election Commissioners.

You are asked to be as detailed as you can be regarding the complaint, which includes the allegations and any facts that would support it.
