Unofficial results of District 34 runoff election shows even 50-50 split

In an interesting turn of events, the District 34 runoff election's unofficial results show an even tie of 372 votes to 372 votes between the two candidates.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — In an interesting turn of events, the District 34 runoff election's unofficial results show an even tie of 372 votes to 372 votes between the two candidates, Joy Springer and Ryan Davis.

The previous election on Jan. 14 did not have a candidate with the majority amount of votes which resulted in Tuesday's runoff election.

Springer received 43 percent of the votes in the January primary election and Davis received 34 percent. 

During the Jan. election, there were almost 700 total votes. In Tuesday's runoff, there was a total of 744 votes.
