FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — On Saturday, March 2, Razorback fans joined together at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Ark. for a celebration of the 1994 National Championship Men’s Basketball team.
It has been 25 years since Scotty Thurman drained a three-pointer to bury Duke and help Coach Nolan Richardson and the Razorbacks to the NCAA title.
Fans welcomed back the team to celebrate the magical moment in Razorback history, and Coach Mike Anderson’s team battled back from a first-half deficit to win its first game against Ole Miss. This is the first Razorback win since Feb. 5.
